Hello blast owners.
In my haste I bought a rear tyre for my X1 and when I came to fit it realised id bought the wrong size.
The tyre I have fits the rear of a buell blast.
I put it on Ebay.

item number
2351a02857

If anyone wants to approach me direct i can pull it before the bidding starts.

It got to 99p Im guessing not many Blast owners need tyres. So I pulled it. Its easier to toss in the bin than muck around at the post office.
Its in my garage if anyone wants it. Make it worth my while.

I don't understand how this is rare? It's a 120 / 80 tyre?

Tyres are sold by size not by what they are fitted on.

Looking at your advert, it seems to be 16" diameter. That is a very unusual size, modern bikes are generally 17" and classics, 18" or 19".

16" is a 'scooter' size.
Seem to recall Jill saying that it did rather restrict the choice available.

As are many Japanese Harl*y cruiser clones, and I think some early Blades had unusual tyre sizes, but they're not that common these days.
The Duc Desmosedici uses a 16.5" rim (like GP bikes) but most folk change these to 17" so they can access a range of tyres.

The rear tyre on my Buell Blast is a 120/80 16" MC60P Avon Viper Stryke. Not very expensive, scooter rated tyre. Works well and does the job.

Have fairly new tyres on bike at the mo but if you are going to chuck it away you could always throw it in my direction. I live near Portsmouth, Hampshire. Let me know how much you are looking for. :yup:

Whereabouts in Surrey are you?
