But my dad has finally accepted he's not going to do anything with it, so has put his kit car on eBay. It's been in a garage for over 20 years, so will need a fair bit of work…

It's apparently now been sold, being collected on Friday. He had about 6 people message him with offers to end the auction early. He said it'd have to be offers over £750 for him to consider, so 2 people had a bidding war via message/phone, and he got £900 for it! About double what he was actually expecting to get.
