I grabbed the oil tank, paid more than I wanted to, but have waited a long time for one of these to come up. I know you can buy them new, but I could never justify the cost of new considering it is just bling. Now need to decide what i'm going to do about the Buell carbon hugger (and the standard hugger come to that), would have just 'put it on the shelf' but trying to make space in the garage for an S3 |

Its increased capacity and aluminium construction ensure that cooler oil reaches your engine than from the standard smaller plastic tank, which is more akin to a thermos flask in its willingness to radiate heat. It's a great mod AND it looks luvverly. |

I'll run with Rik's line of thinking, makes me feel better about the cost. Silly question, how far am I going to need to strip down for the change (the bike , not me)? |

It's Maz's line of thinking. I just happen to agree. You can't have too big an oil reservoir nor shed too much heat from these air cooled lumps. The fact it looks luvverly too is a Brucie bonus (and can someone please explain to Ferris who Bruce is) |
