Did like these as a poster bike, but from diferent angles, it does look..........a bit.........bulboous/ lardy. Might be a case of never meet your heroes in the flesh type thing.

Well it made £15,000 in the end, a little more than I expected.

Possibly. But only in a straight line. I've done a lot of runs down the salt flats with that bodywork. A 2-3 mph side wind is all it take to push you off a 13m wide course real quick. Great if you run out of gas in Kansas though. Anyone who's sailed can tack their way to the next fill up station.

I'm actually a fan of the anti-dive fork on it though.

Never ran into any that copied it. They all had the real plastic.
