Putting my X1 up for sale again on here first before causing myself all the grief that comes with eBay. I have tried a couple of times over the last few years but it was always worth more to me than anybody wanted to pay. I have just put a fresh mot on with no advisories. Went out for a 150 mile ride and it nearly killed me, my old bones need more comfort these days so here we go again. It’s 2001 with just over 11000 miles and in good nick. You all know the score so I will not go in to great detail. Looking for £4000 but open to offers if you view it and can find any reason to knock me down. PM me for my phone number if you want to talk.

Registered in 2001 but it is a 2002 model ;) so the last of the X1's ( the grey engine gives it away ) 2001 model had ALL black engine.

Hi Tony

I regret not having the opportunity to come and view it last time around, my preferred colour scheme and all that.

Feeling a bit gutted it's back on the market again now. :headbang:

But goodluck with the sale tho

OK, finally come to the conclusion that there's no point me keeping the X1 for the odd occasion that I'm there. :sad1:

It's not really possible to keep tax, MOT and insurance up to date all the time. e.g. - Tax has run out, so I've had to SORN it because I can't get it MOT'd, so there's no point having the insurance.

Upshot is - anyone want to buy it? I paid 4k, which I think is a bit on the cheap side and still a good price. I've probably put about 200 miles on it since I bought it. Not advertising it elsewhere because I'm not there, so not a straightforward purchase, although I have a mate over there who can help me sort it out. Failing that, I'll be briefly back in late March or early April for a week or so.

Probably enough details about it in the rest of this thread but more info provided on request.

I also have a barely used Enfield 535 Café racer, probably less than 2k miles on it from memory, will let that go for 3k if anyone is interested, one or the other needs to go

What year is the 535?

2012? Can't really remember, but it was one of the first off the European model production line. I imported it into Qatar direct from India, then, not much later, imported it to the UK. Had to get a letter from the Enfield club proving its age to get it registered. They dated it to 2013, so it's registered as a 2013 bike, which I know is wrong because I owned it before the date they gave it :)

I'm going from memory here, I may have the year wrong, but I've owned it from new. I've probably got a thread about it on here somewhere, I'll have a look later.

Crap memory, but who needs a memory when you have this website :) Here's the thread about it's arrival in Qatar in January 2014 :), so it's a 2013 build, but the production date on its UK log book is later than the date of this thread :)

Here's a thread about getting it registered in the UK in 2016
