Post subject:  Buell XB12R for sale
I am selling my much loved Buell XB12R which I have owned for 5 years and relatively little used only in dry during that time. Black and Gold, it's in good and very original condition. Just got 12 month's MOT no advisory's. I have had it regularly serviced at local Harley dealership and have receipts as well as stamps. The bike is alarmed and have both original ignition keys. Also have spare pillion comfy seat. Mileage 13,800. Price £5400 or sensible close offer considered. I hope someone out there would like it and can offer it a good home where it will continue to be appreciated.

:eat:.....needs a 10k service no matter what the seller says, H-D dont do them properly, a FS tensioner (hopefully the output bearing is still OK ?) and the oil pump drive gear :?

.....and fair play Att, that means you made a 600 quid profit over what you paid for the bike brand new.
IMO the STT was the best model of XB but the buying public didn't agree, H-D couldn't give them away, they reduced the price to 5K when all the other XB models were still selling for 8K.

....and again, Blots are the least desireable of all the XB range IMO, Pash will tell you they're the future, I think he's wrong but back in the day, MCN did vote them the best handling bike on the planet :)

Thanks for your comments all noted and much appreciated. Price mentioned may be on high side agreed, but it is tricky to know how to pitch it as not much to go on. I am willing to consider offers if anyone interested?

Re servicing it has done less than 12K miles, as far as I am aware servicing has been done correctly and not aware of any issues.

I'm sure the servicing has been done to the MoFuCo schedule, but things like checking the steering bearings and changing the fork oil (which will be like cat urine at 10k+miles) etc may not have been done.

Cat urine works in my forks ....gets rid o the bastid moggys shitting in me flowers :twisted: :rotfl: :rotfl:
