I’ve been lurking a while and thought why not?
Details are;
motor top end rebuild by Alfs £1000
Further receipts for £2500 in parts alone
Not including full repaint and frame powder coated
Full mot, 27k miles
Looking for Buell , but not firebolt, 9, or XT version.
If you don’t ask....

Good luck ! It was a Monster that got me into Buells in the first place (admittedly it was a 600). Went down a bike shop to test ride a Monster and saw an M2 sitting there as well. Test rode both of them and came out with the M2, no contest lOl

I’m not surprised, the 600 is underpowered, the 900 a bit too lumpy I found. I’ve had a firebolt but now don’t want that riding position, and the Uly is too tall for me hence the restricted choice.

Had a 750 , same year as yours. Not enough grunt. Low mileage and only got a grand for it.

Thanks; this one has a little more than standard with open air box, arrow cans and dynojetted to suit. Every little helps and all that..

Mine wasn`t standard silencers and had untouched original engine . Did not like being left unused.

When left unused, just drain the float bowls; 2 screws to undo and off she goes.....

might be ok ,as a fixer up over time it's got the lower seat , belt tensioner and gear box output mod (maz nipple) it WILL need an oil pump drive gear at that mileage , hate the exhaust wrap :headbang:
how many if any REAL 10k services has it had , Bearing changes on headstock ,suspension, wheels forks strip rebuild new fluid etc etc

Money I don't have (at least not that much), hence the pitch for a swap :yup:
