Any interest at £3k ONO? More info below BUELL M2 CYCLONE First Registration 24.06.98 from DG20 Southampton. HISTORY The bike was registered to me as second owner on 24.11.99, at about 2600 mls. I bought it from Thames Valley Harley Davidson, then in Maidenhead. As I recollect they sold it on behalf of the first owner, who was a friend of the management there. He had started a certain amount of customisation, including fitting the Screamin Eagle Air Filter, Vance and Hines can, the 4 gallon tank, and twin headlight and flyscreen; plus a custom paint job in purple /black, and a bit of carbon fibre (ie much as it is now.) Before I collected it, TVHD carried out the outstanding recall work. The mileage now (Jan 2020) is 28900. I have owned a second bike since 2012, so this one has done less than 3000mls since then. It has always been garaged. It has an MOT till October 2020 SERVICE/REPAIRS There is a full HD service history to 25kmls, ie every 2500ml, plus one service by Northants V Twin in 2015 at 27200. In early 2019, I did an oil and filter change with relevant HD oil/filter. The battery is brand new. In November 2019 Northants v Twin fitted new piston rings to cure a bit of smoking, and these are now run in. Other than this, the only major failure was the rear shock, replaced by an AST item. The bike has never broken down out on the road, and everything electrical works, including panel lights, sidestand cutout etc. The paint job on the tank had to be redone about 4yrs ago by Vince Simmons after it got the plastic tank lurgy. It was then internally sealed with Armacote Accessories/upgrades 1. Datatool Veto Evo alarm immobiliser, which was fitted by the team at Datatool in Alton the same day I picked the bike up. It has never given any trouble. 2. Banke shifter to replace the OE HD item. 3. Mini Indicators 4. Alloy footrests 5. Larger HD rear sprocket. This gears the bike down slightly from the stock ‘European’ set up, making it possible (just) to ride in 3rd gear in town traffic at 30ish without constantly changing up and down.
