Talk to the main man in Manchester, they're 'unobtanium' according to him and I've just spent a shit load of dosh with him and I need to recoup something. Just giving you peeps the heads-up, always open to negotiation to serious buyers. |

Here's hoping! Shifted 3 bits already - subject to payment arriving! And got an offer on the 1250 overbore kit. |

They must be the gold plated diamond studded unobtainium version, I bought a set brand new from St Paul's HD for little more than half of that when the MoCo pulled the plug, just saying Good luck with the sale |

I also had an S1 that had some from a HD dealer for £600 the pair 15 years ago! Now on eBay is a standard Sportster single cylinder head (unused) £600. Can’t see any other T-storms for sale anywhere at the moment. Maz seems to know what he’s talking about. Just saying 😉 |

I thought you had to change the pistons if you used Thunderstorm heads, not according to the EBay advert. |

On a bike with flat top lightning pistons, yes thunderstorm pistons are needed along with the heads. That's partly what makes XB heads a better upgrade path for lightning engines. XB heads work just fine with lightning pistons and the XB heads have the best geometry of any factory Sportster style cylinder head. I cannot understand why anyone would pay huge amounts of money for thunderstorm cylinder heads, but it's a free world. |
