I am going to look at this tomorrow , is this anyone;s off here? My last one got exported to cyprus after a massive stack in 2019 (havent ridden since as i should have bit the dust that day) to an engineer who was hand with a spanner(holiday home) .

The MOTs and vehicle check say its an S1 lightning but registered in 2002 , so must be an x1 , any ideas? Maz , you genius , are you still running the emporium?

The boomerang gear change was superceded in 2000 I believe although that is an aftermarket lever and shifter arm
I've also read on here that all X1s were registered as S1s,

The thing is on the MOTs it says ‘S1’ , my old buell was registered an x1 and all the MOTs said X1. I can see this is an X1 from the swinging arm.

Did a history check and its had 12 owners , and a mileage alteration 🙄

yes mot history is patchy and possible typo 2008? but also big gaps in mot's ?

The gaps could be hauled up in a garage for a couple of years or registered abroad , like when i had mine in tenerife for 6 years.

Does anyone on here recognise it? Its a single seat and shorter tail.

Looks like a rebuild with the white frame and red tank, purple wheel combo, the scuffs on the derby cover and exhaust looks like it's fallen over at some point too,
I have a set of headers that are better than those, if you do get it and want to replace them, front engine mount is overdue for replacement too I'd reckon.
Not daft money though
