Sadly the time has come for the S1 to go.
I've not ridden it in 2 years. It's sat all forlorn on an Optimate in my garage and is SORN'd.

I've owned it since 1998 and it's done 13724 mostly summer miles.
It's been fully Maz'd, all recalls etc..... polished X1 swinger, Mikuni 42mm Carb, Carbon Air cover, modified US geared (it has a lightweight Baker 26 tooth on the front), Full Buell Race exhaust....

It's a lovely bike.

Haven't really sorted a fair price on it yet ..... will have a think.

That's sad .....

Beautiful machine, I'd be really tempted myself if I ever thought I'd have time to ride it :?

Looking at it closely this is before the rear brake reservoir was changed for something sleeker.....

That needs a relaxed retirement in a warm climate - sadly it can't be here. Unless somebody wants it storing for them. :sad1:

Lovely looking bike - fills me with desire and a strange sadness that I already have one very similar, I'd love to buy it.

Hi

good morning and have you had any thoughts on price yet?

Didn't someone on here sell one for over £6500 on ebay in the summer. Even in the winter this one must be worth over £4.5k if the weather was better its got to be worth £5k.

Stick it on Ebay in the summer with a sensible reserve unless of course you need the cash right now but haven't you got a kidney you could sell other something?

I'm not desperate to sell tbh. I can wait till Spring if it'll fetch a better price ....
Christmas ..... Snow on the ground.... a shit time to sell .
Maybe I should wait 3 or 4 months. :?
