Ideal wish list is low seat, tall screen, luggage, Remus and heated grips.

Obviously will look at any combination of the above for the right money.

Looking around 4k but will could swing a bit in either direction depending on the package.

Shoot, Navman moved on again. :o I thought that bike was going to be a keeper... then again, he said something similar about the Fazer a year or so earlier. :(

Norm, I thought the Buell was a keeper, but a Gen 2 FZ1-S caught my eye and I had to try one, pick it up on Sunday ;)

Missed the top end rush the Gen 1 gave me............

Can't dispute your logic or your reasoning but I also can't help but feel having 2 bikes in your garage would work out a lot cheaper for you.

Don't tempt me, as you know have been down that route before :headbang:

Still "got no satisfaction" ;)

Still looking for a trail bike and possibly a restoration project or a Tuber may fit rather well.........................................

Thanks Norm, I now know what I want, can I please have your home address so my wife can come round and explain to you why it will be I am being kicked out

I put that up a few days ago and got accused (quite rightly) of being an accountant.

The second bike costs £25 in insurance, £65 in road tax and £30 in MOTs (depending on age). Opportunity cost of the investment might be £50-odd. Compared to that, how much you lost on the FZS, or your 12X... ;)

Simples :yup:

If I had been worried about depreciation, I would not have considered a Buell, they lose serious amounts of cash

Good job I can't count...............

Whatever the cost I have enjoyed the Ulysses and do not regret either buying it or selling it, I just wish I had enough disposable income to have kept every bike I have owned

Interestingly, the Fazer 1000 was brought as a (not recorded) rideable crash damaged machine and I actually made good money out of it

Wish I had kept the chain and sproket set, it would have fitted my latest buy!

I might still have them! Storage fees are huge, though. ;)

I'll check but it won't be for a week or so.
