bar end mirrors are the way forward. Just fitted a pair onto my xb9 and they are ace, no more vibrating mirrors, and the bike looks so much better :D

Too wide for me, I'm mostly squeezed between two lines of cars
:P

I agree with Bonzo, put bar end mirrors on and you might as well drive a car.
I had one on my right side and it meant no sliding between rows of cars stuck in traffic jams for fear of leaving a big scratch along each of 'em.
Reverted back to standard mirrors now, not the best but you can get used to them.

As for vibration......it's a Buell!! What were you expecting??!! :headbang:

All my bikes have bar end mirrors. If you ride in traffic jams, you may as well be in a car.

What's a traffic jam :?:

They're tiny, add in total about another inch or 2 to the width of the bike, I've no problems filtering with them on so far, well I only fitted them on Monday, but have managed to squeeze to front of every queue I've been in.

Bar end mirrors for me too-vibration free at all speeds. Actually add around 3.5 inches per side...... i try to avoid routes that are congested, difficult to 'enjoy' the bike surrounded by cars. :yup:

 think i saw some on ebay for about £11 from hong kong that are the same. Cheap enough to just try em and see how you go?

Yeah, but that's British filtering, it's civilised :P

Aussie (Brisbane) filtering (or "lane-splitting", as us colonists like to call it) precludes the use of bar-end mirrors, though they are the best for vibration reduction when it comes to bike-mounted mirrors. Lost two bar-end mirrors on the M2 to trucks...

I have to tuck the XB12R mirrors in some days - they are the widest part of the bike.

I used a bug-eye mirror as the final best result when commuting on the M2. Fantastic product, and looked ridiculous/hideous as well, which is an added bonus. Not legal here as a mirror replacement, but very effective, once you get used to it. No vibration at all, and you can change where you're looking behind you by turning your head.

I disagree. You're thinking of motorcycling as a form of entertainment rather than a form of transport. It takes me over half an hour to get home from work by car because of jams and traffic lights. Filtering on a bike it takes 10 minutes. (If I didn't have to stop at traffic lights I could do it in 5 minutes.)

Anyway, even traffic dodging is fun :P

From memory Aprilia Tuono or KTM mirrors are a straight fit.
