Anyone got an unwanted spare or know of an equivalent replacement? The only ones I can find are silly money in USA |

I did it on my M2 many years ago, not sure if it has been done on the X1. may be able to answer that |

To add to the mystery, went out for a few hours on it yesterday. At first it was really erratic (I was hoping for erotic) with a lot of bouncing and reading low. After an hour or so it settled down and worked perfectly followed by a slight bounce and drop off near the end. Each change seemed to coincide with stopping and setting off again |

Wiring mod now done, a bit more fiddly than the M2. I'll try with the new sensor and see how it goes 🤞 |

from what i remember , it stops the sensor from getting a voltage spike so stops it toasting the sensor |

I concur, from Maz and other reading, 5 volts is sufficient for it to function. |

Another test, bypassed the Speedo Healer and my speedo now works perfectly, albeit too high now. Does anyone have a working speedo healer lying around, or any easy way to test and repair mine? |
