As above , Wanted rear disc for 2001 x1 lightning , preferably new, but at least not warped and as near to new as possible. Alternatively somewhere that does high quality pattern ones that are recommended, no funny shapes

A certain main dealer in London just quoted me £347.99 for a rear disc inc. Vat

As much as I hate EBC for being cheap, @ £97 from a certain aftermarket online jobbie, it seems a no brainer here, even after 3 sets of discs!

Think your dealer has quoted for a front disc......I'll check prices tomorrow.
I have a rear in stock and from memory, it's around the 80 quid mark.
EBC is good tackle IMO.

Why do you use your rear brake so much ??

Maz,

Don't ask me that.....I just have done for years and I think I must trail the back brake into corners (mainly in traffic and urban areas) . It's a bad habit, and it hasn't been that costly on bikes in the past, always a set of pads, but never a disc.

If I can, I am hoping to get the bike up to you for a 'mazover' but pressure is on for the MOT, so I can get an advisory on the disc, but I don't want to run the risk on a wet road into a corner, if you know what I mean. Hopefully will be able to get up to you later in the summer.
