Hi all, Anybody got a XB front brake switch going spare? Banjo and Blackrag have both offerred to lend me their's for the MOT, but I thought I'd ask here before biting the bullet and paying H/D for a new one. (Oh - before you ask, its not the terminals that have corrroded, its the spring mechanism within the switch that controls the piston / plunger that has gone.) Cheers, Dave |

These switches are common as muck........just about any bike shop will have them for around 6 quid. |

Absolutely correct! (Except my local HD dealership, who doesn't have them in stock and estimates about £20 to get one for me!) IIRC, Triumph (plus a lot of others) use the same switch and they should be under a tenner new. Before going and sourcing a new one, however, I thought I'd ask here as I'd sooner give my money to a member than to a bike shop of whatever flavour. Dave |

I might have one from an old SRAD 600 you can have for nothing. I'll get back to you later today on that one once I go down to my band warehouse/Suzuki junkyard. |
