Needed to try and see if it cures this intermittant fault ...........I'm still convinced that when hot one of the sensors is breaking down......my Tps did throw a fault code last week for no apparent reason.................again managed 61miles tonight before it cut out but for a few miles before something just didn't feel right .......Tps is probably the most likely to be suffering from heat as it is very close to the rear cylinder head.
So folks anybody that has one they are willing to let me try I'd be very greatful ;) ...........It could just save Muffins life ;)

Why don't you log some data so we can see which sensor gives erroneous readings? It's free...

I tried logging once before but couldn't find the logfile afterwards :? maybe it's just me being stupid or possibly something missing from my ecmspy?

Would also have to change the settings on my laptop soit doesn't auto shutdown when lid is closed ....anybody no where to change that?

Logs are stored in C:\Program Files\EcmSpy\datalog

Change power settings in Control Panel -> Power Options

Did you ever take the plugs out when it konked out, to see whether Muffin was suffering from no fuel or no spark or too much fuel etc.?

What about visiting :maz: ?

Well the only time i've had them out was last week when it had been running very very rich and black smoking after i didn't allow it to cool and just kept restaring and riding................problem with taking it anywhere is it runs fine for over 40miles and when cold all the sensors check out ok :? so going to be very hard for anybody to get it to fail in a workshop without a dyno .

What fuel are you using, Kev? Have you got a 'sock' over the air filter?
