GM, the stretch of line where they filmed many of the action scenes from Titfield Thunderbolt is but a short ride from where I live.
Even the station building is still open to the public and sells all sorts of memorabilia, if you're interested.

Having said this, I haven't actually been there for at least ten years, so I cannot be certain it still exists.
I'll check it out..........

Edit: It seems the shop has now moved to bath.

It seems that the old station building I knew was not actually used for the film - they built a replica along the same stretch of line.
