I know, I know, it's crap and makes a whole statement about sexuality, but I wanted one....

However this little baby ain't got a tow bar and needs one.

I know its extremely unlikely but we are an eclectic bunch...... so here's hoping...

And here is my new baby...

I love them too 8-) I had a Lomax with a tuned motor in it and it could hold its own on the road. There's a bloke in Stafford that has any spare you'll ever need - his name escapes me now but do a google search.
Lightening the flywheel 30% gives a very good result and fitting electronic ignition is essential to save a load of grief (cheap too, about £65 iirc) There's loads of stuff like cams, big valves (BSA A10 inlets can be made to fit ;) ) and twin Amal Concentrics etc, that help them shift along. Run the exhaust valve with a few more thou clearance than the book suggests too ;)
If you keep the round reed valve crankcase breather functioning, a lot are knackered, then you'll enjoy an oil tight motor.
I recently gave a spare motor and gearbox away

Rev it until it stops, you'll never destroy the roller bearing crank lOl

Enjoy 8-)

Excellent, thanks Adam :yup:

Shame about the engine and box, mines been round the clock and the engine is just about knackered. Going to look for a cheap one and rebuild it. Will bear in mind your engine advice, thanks again :yup:

If you only do one thing, get the leccy ignition, it makes the world of difference. Oh, and new plastic bushes for the gear lever - helps nippy changes to keep the motor on the cam. They're only a couple of quid.

(That's two I know lOl )

I also made a tool for pressing out the steering bushes, dunno if I've still got it, but if I have, it's yours. Possibly still got the correct reamer too :yup:

Yep, you guessed it Adam, the King pins are shot to shit aswell lOl .

I know its horrible, but in some strange way its a real hoot to drive and I find it strangely attractive.... in an ugly way.... :stage:

Being air cooled, the heating is non existant and on journeys to work the windscreen has been freezing up..... on the inside :hehe: It's been good in this shite weather though and warmer than the Enfield (a bit) 8-)

They did a test a while back and the 2cv was more arrow dynamic when going backwards so someone did turn the whole of the insides around. It gave etc mpg etc by doing this. (one of those odd things I remember).

I still want a Morris Minor lovely little cars.
