UK Buell Enthusiasts Group :: Wanted: X1 speedometer MPH

Hi boys and girls!

To get my European bikes registered/MOT'd here in the UK, I need to adjust some things on my bikes. This means that I'm looking for a (used) speedometer for my 1999 X1 lightning in MPH.

I also need a (used) speedometer MPH for my 2001 Harley Nighttrain (Steve?!)

Does any body has these lying around, want to get rid off it and sell them to me?

and just swap your left and right indicator bulbs :yup:

That is an option Daywalker, thanks for the info. But I'ld like to see if I can get a speedo first. If not... I will use a sticker.

Where did you buy the stickers?

well.....we have found a solution...

For the DVLA registration for both my bikes....I can Use Mich's speedo's (and I don't mean speedo as in swim wear hehehe)

Well Nutah, I think he will be definitely doing that this year. It's gonna be weird not to have a extra bike for spare parts

On my grey import I just had stickers for 30, 50 and 70 mph and that was fine. Maybe things have changed now.

My S1 has a KPH speedo I have just put small stickers at the main points ie 30/40/50/60/70 and have had no probs at MOT time. Headlight lens from motorworks..... http://www.motorworks.co.uk/bmw/product ... xt_image=1 and just swap your left and right indicator bulbs

Have you got a euro geared km/h speedo up for grabs? Mine has just departed to my flat in Tenerife.
