I have a problem with formatting when writing PM. I noticed that with every message in sequence, the page width increases. No wide images involved, just text. In the end the editing area was protuding so much, that it got wider than my display.

Is there a setting in the control panel I missed, for maximum page width or word wrap?

Do you mean when you type the window gets longer etc and you have to scroll along to see the end .. ?

I have tried to replicate this but using firefox (I dont use anything else) it doesn't work for me ...

I will look into it and see if any other forum has the same issue and how they they fixed it

If you could screen shot and post an example it would be helpful, cheers pal :yup:

Even when the window is empty (e.g. no quote, no new text), it's extended to the right side. I get the same when writing a reply to a thread, but not as bad as with pm.

I wouldn't mind, if my display would be a bit wider ... :-)

I don't know how the forum runs with Ubuntu (I have never used it) or Firefox 3, the latest firefox is version 6, I have no idea why it would be doing that. The forum also isn't designed to be viewed in wide screen :)
