I may be being stupid but I successfully managed to post a photo uploaded from my cameras card mid June but have now totally failed to upload some more, getting the message that they are too large. What am I doing wrong, or has something changed? Thanks.

Not sure anything has changed.

I use photobucket, or if I want to upload a photo directly I'll resize with Irfanview...

Life should be easier...

Lars, As Nick mentions, nothing has changed. The side is set at 5 MB per image which is a decent size for a forum. if you are uploading direct from something like a mobile device then I dar say the size will be bigger, you might need to resize or, As Nick mentions, use Photobucket :yup:

The size was set at 5 MB as a reasonable trade off between bandwidth/storage (which we pay for) and display size.

If you have issues, just post back and we will help :yup:

The site was rejecting them because they were over 2 meg not 5 meg, at least that's what it said! I solved the issue by sending them to "e-mail recipient" directly which automatically reduced them to a quarter meg then posted them. Thanks for the advice.
