I just tried uploading my Avtar and in RED its saying.. unable to do so because of a BMP extension......can you explain?? and give me a clue on how to do it.. Regards Woody. |

At a guess, the file you were trying to use is a bitmap file. That is uncompressed and huge and you should be shot for trying to send it around electronically.  Open it in any image editing program and save it as a .jpg or a .gif and that should work. It must be easy! Lookie over <<< and you'll see I've just done it.
