I can quite easily add some extra script that, when joining make the location field mandatory but as GM says, its their loss. I am reluctant to start hacking the script about too much at the moment, as when the forum engine has an upgrade (it does at least once a year) it usually over writes the modded script, which means I have to site here for hours on end re doing all the mods and script, some of which may or may not be compatible with the next stable version we update too ....
Thanks for the question though, all suggestions are welcomed, this is a brand new forum and we are open to ideas etc, after all its you guys this was built for, and if something reasonable makes life easier then im all ears
