I knew an American fella who was stationed down here at Brawdy. He was in their intelligence section (yep I know that American + Intelligence is an oxymoron) and lived in a cottage the arse end of know where. On his days off, if the Witness called, he would invite them in and spend hours debating their theology. They would leave in a befuddled state only to return at a later date with their hierarchy.

A word to the wise people.

I know that the general message from the Doctor's surgeries has been not to contact them as to when you will be getting your vaccination. However, my Sister In Law, same age as me (bearing in mind I had my jab last week) has MS and had not been given a date. She eventually rang them yesterday to be told, by an abrupt receptionist, that they had been trying to get hold of her for 2 weeks and she had been "uncontactable". Total shite, as they had both her telephone numbers (on different networks) and what is wrong with snail mail?

She now has an appointment for next week. If you feel you may have been overlooked...…..don't be complacent.

got a text saying i could book up my vaccination , which i did
three days later get a text from my doctors offering a booking too
so replied saying i had already booked one thanks
had the vaccination this morning , after finnishing nightshift
seems all good , had the "Vauxhall" Astra zeneca , I must be an "influiser" as the prime minister has jumped on the bandwagon & copied me..

My missus is stuck in the UK. She had a vaccination booked in Leicester, but had a brain fart and turned up a day too late. She went online and manged to get a jab the same day in Loughborough.

I got a mild reaction after my AZ inoculation - felt a bit like mild flu symptoms and extreme tiredness. Better than getting Covid though
