With the continued pandemic, the logistics of spectators from all over the world arriving, the minimum number of marshals required for each session, homestay availability (and willingness) together with rider qualification eligibility are all ponderable.
The TT is a resilient event, transcribing two World Wars, it’s removal from the World Racing calender, Foot and Mouth and in 2013, massive snowfall with it’s allied disruption and road surface damage 11 weeks prior to the start of practice.
