I can’t do training until I’ve done the prerequisite number of sessions. Race week should tick all those boxes and once done I can do some training.

I’ll be supervised until done :D

:yup: yes one year, I went on a day coach trip, midnight sailing ,arrive Douglas early morning, and then the rain started  on and off as was the start time for the races , until by midday it got cancelled :o so went for a meal with some friends who were racing then came home , still get reminded of this from time to time, as the only bloke they know who went to the IOM for a meal and then came home.

Have spent many an hour sat in an Isle Of Man hedge waiting for the weather to clear. Took it one step further in 1996 and went to The Daytona 200 only for it to be cancelled for the first time in nearly 30 years due to appalling rain. They ran it a few weeks later when all the Brits (John Reynolds was on our flight home) had left which was a tad unsporting. The only positive is that I got to test ride a Buell before they were imported to the UK.............. and meet Erik.
