Hi

I have converted by Buell XB12S, to use both headlights. I used car lamps H4 that, have high and low beam.
You have to do some mods on, the lamps to make them fit, but they do fit.
They work well on low and. high beam, and I have had no problems so far.

Here is a drawing of the wiring mods, that I did so that I could use H4 lamps.

Any questions please ask

FYI

I have made a modification to my twin headlight, I have added another relay for the low beam.
It works very well on low and high beam, also if you use the flash on low beam.
The lights are nice and bright, also I can be seen on my commute to work through London!
Also past the MOT today with no problems.

Hi.

The attached file shows how a quick and simple wiring change engages BOTH headlights when on high beam.

I put together this modification together about a year ago - works well - and much better riding at night.

It works the same on the lightening!

Good mod I think I'll add it to mine ..just for reference I've put a ballasted Xeon headlamp conversion kit I bought off eBay (46 quid) on my xb9 for low beam the ballast fits nicely behind the cowl and my honest review is that it's ridiculously good and u only need high for reading the road far ahead and rarely as the low is so good ...also I've noticed less people pulling out In front of me during the day )) best sensible mod I've done ))
