But maybe he just bought an engine on its own? and lets face it if you lot saw an engine advertised you tight fuckers wouldn`t buy it anyway you would just tell everyone its too much money! "just another dreamer" would be the saying of the day! lol lOl

I'm currently building a hardtail, with a 1200 sportster engine in it - not from a Buell - and I was advised by several people that a chain would be better than a belt, due to it being a hardtail a belt would be more likely to snap, although that is for the sake of the belt/chain - not the tranny.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Surely that would depend on how tight the belt was set as per the X1 and the the old 'top of the swinging arm to bottom of the swinging arm' ratio -
