Hello friends,
no idea if there is already something like that here in the forum or if you have something like that already...it has always annoyed me in any case that I have to write down and calculate everything by hand when adjusting valve clearance. In addition, one spoils fast times the manual.
So I've made a small Exceltool, with which you get after entering the valve clearance and the shim size automatically displayed the correct size.

Very few people around here these days, Sacha. Thanks for your efforts. This site is a great source of technical information so now it's tucked in here various people who aren't regular contributors will pop in and find it of great use.
And no 1125/1190 drivers ever but a few who would call themselves riders

Of course we are riders! I must have slipped off the keyboard and somehow got on the d. 😂
Glad if the tool helps. No rocket science but just a little helper.

Re: Valve lash calculator
Not an EBR rider, but made my own basic spreadsheet for doing old Jap UJMs. Recently saw an overly sophisticated one on a BMW K100 site that even spits out the part numbers for the required shims. Not a big fan of using other peoples spreadsheets, if I'm going to screw it up I'd rather it was all my fault
