Here's how I discovered and stopped an annoying rattle (like a box of Lego) that occured at exactly 2,000rpm in the head unit of my 09 XB12Ss.

What you need to have:

    2.5mm hex key
packet of sticky tabs (you know the type - foam double sided and adhesive)
    Loctite 243

What you need to do:

Remove the four hex bolts on your front screen and remove screen.
Stack about 4 or so pads together and place between the back of the horn unit and the black 'kinder egg yolk sorta thing' above it.

replace screen and drop a couple of drops of 243 or similar on the ends of the bolts to stop them falling off in future.

I know it's not a 'how to change wheel bearings' but it's the best I've got ;)
