If like me, you have been remiss in the storage of your motorcycle apparel, and it has become mouldy, the following works a treat.
I had this problem on both leather and textile items. Remove the source of the problem, by either washing the textile or use a damp sponge on the leather. Allow to dry.
Then place the garments in a bin bag with a couple of slices of toasted white bread and seal the bag. Leave for a couple of days, remove, and the odious smell has disappeared.
Yes there is just the faintest wiff of breakfast.
