First post for al_f_au.
The al part is for Allen,my Christian name, f is first letter of my surname and the au = Australia. Friends call me Alf.
I live in beautiful sunny downtown Brisbane.
I'm a bit old for the 2000 X1 that I own but it's too late now,I'm hooked.I have owned it for 3 and a bit years,I bought it of my son who wanted money quick to go to New Guinea.
So I am reasonably familiar with things.
I'm looking forward to mixing in and learning as much as I can about keeping this old girl running sweet .
I am particularly interested in coming to terms with ecmspy, so far I am limited to, tps reset,afv,trouble codes and the basic stuff.there is a lot to learn.
anyway,that's me, catch you around.

G'Day Alf. Driving up towards Brisbane once from Sydney, I spied a yellow X1. It turned off the motorway at Newcastle so I guess that is a bit south for you.

One of the ECMSpy application pioneers, useless!, is not far from you, lives just off the M1 as you cross the Brisbane River
