Hi I rejoin as Colesey (prevoiusly Colesal). Currently riding a ST1300. The XB9R is in the Garage following the collaspe of the rear wheel bearing and is waiting to be stripped down and repaired properly. When the bearing collaspe I didn't notice straight away and went around at least two roundabout before parking up in the works car park and wondered why the bike was hard to push and then looked down and saw some ball bearings rolling about down by the rear wheel. There a lot of damage to the rearwheel and the spacer had worn away. A local engineering firm couldn't find a spacer the same size so they repair the existing spacer and I fitted new bearings to the wheel. I had to get the bike home as I couldn't kept it in work. I now need to strip the wheel down and inspect the housing the bearing sit in. I suspect the rear wheel needs to be replaced. I often see and hear Shubnobeta on his S1. |

So whos the person on the XB lightning who comes down Ashlands road Crewkerne every morning between 0630 and 0700 hrs. |

I am guessing that I might have seen your bike outside your house, and if I have I only live the other side of the school!! I use that road to goto work better than direct route to Yeovil. |
