Just bought a Cyclone just like the one I had 10 years ago. Molten orange frame with black bodywork. It's got the race kit fitted. Hoping to get it delivered next week. Jez |

GZ, I'm assuming from the name that you might own a Lotus too? (That would make three "Lotus plus Buell" owners that I know.) Let me know! Dave |

Lotusjez, I run a 53 plate Elise S2 (so now we can get into the "S1 vs S2" debate to mirror the "tuber vs fueller" Buell argument). As it happens, I have a (somewhat modified) 2001 /02 Cyclone (full fairing, USD front from a ZXR, oil tank where the pillion seat used to be etc). If you are anywhere "south" in the UK, it would be good to meet up on the SELOC winter warmer run. Dave |

Hi Dave - To be honest I don't bother with the Elise S1 v S2 debate. I bought an S1 for my reasons and If I want an S2 I'll save up a little and buy one. S1's seem to be appreciating a little at the mo, don't know about S2's. I wouldn't buy the later Buells - they look a little cramped for me. The Cyclone I bought will suit me fine. It's a project. I had a black Cyclone with an orange frame 10 years ago and couldn't resist buying one when I saw it for sale. I had in mind to change it dramatically as I did my last one - BUT and it's a big but - when did you see the last original (ish) cyclone on the road? Not seen one in years. Or any Cyclone for that matter. Niggles in my mind are saying don't chop the rear end etc etc Thoughts? Jez |

Sure, plenty of thoughts, leave the darn thing alone and buy one that's already had an angle grinder taken to it. Most seem to fall into that bracket! And you can then monkey around with it till your heart is content. |

I have had my M2 for over a week now and I need to check the oil pump gear as a matter of urgency. It's done 14.5k miles so it needs to be done sooner rather than later. Think I'll replace it as a matter of course so where is the best deal on these? Jez |
