Hi Folk,

New to the forum and also to Buell ownership currently owning a Ulysses XB12X 08 model looking forward to taking part in the forum but please forgive my lack of Buell knowledge I hope to learn from you guys and maybe share my experiences as I take on the challenges of owning a Buell.

Thanks for the welcome, I will post a picture when I have taken one when I said new to Buell I mean new as in very recently.

I have been riding for nigh on 40 years and owned most makes it was while I was in the states I saw a couple of these bikes and thought I have got to try one of those for myself.

Word of warning, it will ruin other bikes for you. You probably won't realise this until you sell the bike and try to find a different bike that ticks your boxes. You might miss the handling, you'll definitely miss the usable torque. They are a bit special.

Well I took a pic today hope they upload I am a bit of a Dinosaur with this stuff, anyway one New [to me] black Ulysses if anyone knows the make of the silencer please divulge the info.

Ahh Cryptic clues I guess you are talking about the Free spirit sprung belt pulley, give me time I have only just got her :D there is always a shopping list with all bikes.

Nice looking 12X, it's been well looked after by the look of it. I too still the the FS pulley on my list of to do's, there is a link to an eBay seller offering the tensioner at a discount to beggars on here somewhere (sorted out by member :yup: ). Looks good in black, starting to develop a liking for the murder/ (obscure reference alert) Hotblack Desiato's stunt ship style.
