Post subject: | Hello from a new Buell owner |
Got my first Buell last week...been lookin for quite a while. Found the one. Seriously pleased. Got me a 1125CR in black. Seriously clean and honest with all the charging mods done. Thanks Carl from Chester HD - your bike is Sweet! Good luck in Oz. So I’ve already made a few changes and ordered a quick shifter from the states. I need one of those as my other bike has it! (MV Dragster). Please don’t tell me I’ve made a mistake ordering this!! Loving the noise and the looks, handling is amazing. Need to do more miles to have more opinions. Look forward to chatting with you guys, especially those in the know. |

Enjoy.....this bike was in my shop a couple of weeks ago....check out my FB for pictures. Not sure why you'd need a quick shift ![]() |

I’m not sure about quick shifters - brilliant on the track but not convinced for the road. |

Welcome Uncle Tig I've seen your bike, nice. It has had a bit of work done so should treat you well. I really enjoy my 1125 and I'm sure you will yours. |

Welcome. What neck of the woods are you from? The 1125 is a splendid machine and very underrated ![]() |

Thanks for the welcome guys. For those that haven’t tried a quick shifter...they’re great...so much fun and definitely not just a track tool. Well that’s true for my Dragster. Hoping it’s just the same for my new Buell. Also getting a buelltooth connector to upgrade the eprom...in truth I’m nervous about messing with this but I have a tech background and maybe some new friends here to help me out if I mess up. At the moment the bike rides almost too smoothly, no hidden power band, no faults at all; but it does have a GPR exhaust that a remap may help??? ![]() |
