Hi All, was on her a few to many years ago when I had a Ully and a XB12SS probably 8 or 9 years ago now, looking at another Ully tomorrow and pretty sure ill be riding it home so hopefully by 11am Ill be back in the fold again!

been a few years since ive had a day to day bike after a serious accident on my way to work, mostly having old harleys, shovel and earlier so looking forward to enjoying something with an electric start and suspension again!!!

First things first will be to give it a full workover as it hasnt been used more than a few miles for MOT trips for a few years!

Ill be back........

No it was just outside of London, and I bought it and rode it home!!! very pleased and rides like new, its done 22k, 2k in the last 6 years! The guy personalised the bike with some colouring here and there which I am going to spend some time today to remove with some thinners etc.

just needs some love all over but the engine is sweet as is the handling etc, full service history by Warrs and just popped the seat off to find a race ecu fitted to go with the pipe so very happy with that!

few bits to do but i like that!

welcome
at 22k need to check on oil pump drive gear ASAP  if this goes and they do, at a lot less miles than yours is at , then it's a Massive engine rebuild and Massive price
ps orange ullys are the best :D

.....and it'll desperately need a 10K service.

oil pump drive gear is on my list as is a full service, already bought a Free spirits tensioner so will fit that when it comes Friday.

I still need to sort the seat but im unsure what to do with it at the moment, its been recovered with a leather diamond stitch pattern but most of the original Red has now long gone, i may just die it black or I may get it recovered or just get a lower seat, my old 2007 ully had a lower seat and i think this 2005 one has gained an inch when being recovered which helps even less

I believe those reflectors on the forks can potentially wreck them

Big improvement, well done,
not sure if the exhaust wrap is a good idea, certainly has the capacity to ruin tuber pipes
the standard seat on my 09 xt is lower than yours (recover and lower/ find used later lower seat (probably cost about the same) - options)
