Gday, Been the owner of an 2000 X1 from new. Had the various problems that crop up. Oil pump drive gear, clutch grenade plate well Grenading, and a few others I guess. All the same ive loved it to bits. Quite litteraly.
So its currently geting a good overhall. New ported heads, 1250 kit. Just got a new clutch basket comming as even though id reused the last one after the clutch spring plate shat itself its never been happy about it. (A good score all the way around which id filled down)
Cant believe its taken this long to find this site. Always been on the Bad weather bikers and a few sporty sites.
Seems to be a whole lot of information on here so look forward to picking up a few tips, and who knows maybe I can offer some wisdom.

Welcome, I am seriously looking for one of those hats with corks round it as it's a bit warm here at the moment.

Its a small world, and this buell has spent plenty of time running the WA state. I lived there for a few years and rode from top to bottom and inland and back again many times. So I may well have run into Bonzo at one time or another.
