Hello everybody, My name’s Jim, I’m from northern Cumbria just a few miles from the border with Scotland and this time tomorrow an XB12XT should be in my garage! I’ve never owned a Buell before but I have a track record of 40 years (!) of bikes ![]() ![]() The forum has already proved useful in the brief time I’ve been lurking ![]() ![]() |

Hi Jim, Welcome to the Buell Enthusiast Forum. (Hope I go that right) You will be very welcome here, lots of information available from some very knowledgeable people who own the same bike or have lots of Buell experience. Stick a pic of your bike on when you get it please, always nice to see another Buell. You take care now. Paul. |

Jim, If you are changing the belt take the advise of these guys here and check or change the wheel bearings too, a few good pics will show what if any other mods may be advisable. |

If you are changing the belt, keep the old, intact one as a spare, it may get you out of trouble one day. ![]() |
