Hello everybody,
My name’s Jim, I’m from northern Cumbria just a few miles from the border with Scotland and this time tomorrow an XB12XT should be in my garage!
I’ve never owned a Buell before but I have a track record of 40 years (!) of bikes
and I do all of my own spannering. I currently have an ‘85 Honda XL600R in bits on the bench, but my primary ride is an ‘04 Yam TDM900. I prefer riding on my own or with a couple of mates rather than in larger groups and most of my riding is touring orientated, I’m just back from a few days on the west coast of Scotland 
The forum has already proved useful in the brief time I’ve been lurking
, but no doubt I’ll be asking some newbie questions shortly (and, yes, I’ll be using the search facility first!). In the meantime I’m looking forward to the Buell experience 
to some sort of therapy group
