Evening all. Have finally scratched my Buell itch, ten + years after a test ride at Riders of Bridgewater. XB9R, spotless, (until I got hold of it) late of Mr Jez N of this parish. At the moment am tweaking the suspension, which even given its sporting nature seems a bit harsh still. Will doubtless be posting daft questions in the future. Hi to XB12s owner from Snozzle in Cornwall who was at the Bideford Bike Show this Saturday. |

Afternoon John.........you need to eat some pies like the previous owner! Hopefully the Higbee settings or the manual will give you some pointers. coco wrote: I suspect maz has probably had his hands on it before Oh yes indeed! I was stalking UKBEG for a while so hopefully knew what to look for. I bought it from Jez in Preston, so a lot nearer to Maz than where it currently lives. For specs and pics look at Jez’s listing under For Sale (XB9R Firebolt for sale. 16/05/19). (Not being lazy but lack familiarity/time/enthusiasm for keyboard twiddling to copy here - Ok, am being lazy.) Very pleased with bike, chief burden of ownership so far is keeping it clean. It’s a good un Jez, pleasure doing business with you and thanks for your help launching it up the ramp into the van. |
