Hello all, totally new to the Buell thing. Have long been drawn towards the bikes but hasn't ever quite been tge right time but I've decided that I would like to get myself into things with an XB12S. I don't know a huge amount about them otber than what I have turned up on Google. I've always had Jap bikes starting with 70s 2 strokes & moving through various big 4 cylinder stuff. I've posted a wanted ad in the marketplace section so if anyone knows of anything then give me a shout.
Thanks - Stew.

Hi Stew welcome to the forum
there is lots of info on here about different Buell models
you will stumble into the Tube framed versus fuel in frame ,Tubers versus XB etc.
or even the water cooled , whatever witch craft that is...I'm biased so make your own mind up
welcome to the zoo...

welcome

ps a location in your profile would help to find anybody near you to see, chat or even try a Buell for size . once we come out of lockdown there are a few events through out the year that might be of interest .

Others will have a better insight than I. But my feeling is that the used market for bikes is likely to be pretty strong with spring coinciding with a likely relaxation of covid lock down? Good luck with bike hunting.

Most likely, the world seems far more crazy than usual at present so see what turns up. I think Buells were possibily a little under valued previously so maybe it won't be so bad. Some other stuff is very strong at present, particularly 80s nostalgia related....RG500 anyone??

Welcome,
Looks like you are in a similar position, although i've owned an XB12s before. I'm looking for a 9 this time as my 12 shook itself to bits.
You're in the right place here, the guys & girls are great and there is always a helping hand to be found.
