Hi from Slough UK.
Been a “Bueller” for about 18 months now. Been a slightly steep learning curve as had to sort out the 2008 XB12XT I bought secondhand. Electrics and ECM Flashing etc.
seems to run ok at the moment just passed the MOT anyway.

Had admired them since they came out at the bike show in 2006. Was really after an X but settled with an XT. Se la vie eh!

Anyway it’s great to see a forum set up for them and we can mine each others minds for info eh!!

Ed

Welcome aboard, Ed. Took your time finding us, we've been here since '99 lOl It's not as active as it once was but it's a vast repository of information.

Great bike the Ulysses, I've probably ridden more than 50,000 miles on them and written off both of those that I've owned. Still miss them, probably the best all round motorcycle I've ever had.

Steve

Welcome, as others have said it's a lot quieter on here these days probably due to general apathy. It's great that folks are still buying/finding Buells. Enjoy yours once all the foibles are sorted. A cracking bike without the sanitation of total reliability. :D

Better late than never ;)
I've been here since........let me think now..... nope it's gone :old:
Did my first and thought it was the last Em's day this year, but hopefully not.
So as Hank always said, " If the good lord's willing and the creeks don't rise we'll see y'all again soon"
:D

Welcome,

I'm relatively new here too. had my xb12s just over a year. still learning, still surprises me!

failed mot this year on first run as horn button mechanism came apart (on the inside) and shorted on the handle bar blowing the horn/brake light fuse  glad I took in however as he noticed the swingarm was loose! I think that might be the only bolt I didn't check (and therefore find loose) after getting it so 100% my fault then!

used it for work this morning. Woke the neighbours. Overtook some cars. Arrived at work with smile on face. nuff said. :D

Many thanks for the warm welcome.

I heard about the board from a guy I spoke to at the National Motorcycle Museums latest open day.
(Henry Cole and co)

We got talking about remaps and smooth running and he spoke of a wizard on this board who can work magic apparently?

He was the only Buell out of what seemed like a thousand bikes! I recognised the noise as it pulled into the car park. A white XB with a blue screen and some shiny bits. So struck up a conversation and here I am. Now looking for what could be the answer to better ride ability?

Anyway. Being as everyone apart from the very hardiest is hibernating for winter I’ll say thanks again for the warm welcome. Here’s to many hours in the saddle with a grin firmly affixed.

Ed
