Post subject:  New old member needs some help

Hi,

I used to be a member on here back in 2003/4/5, had a blue XB9R, used to join in the Friday meets in Fulham and others, it was fun. That bike ended up being stolen and so I dropped off the forum.

Ended up on a Yamaha MT01 for a few years then cars/trucks after that, built a kit car but I'm selling that so back in the market for a Buell. I like the idea of a tuber but probably more in the market for an XB12S for a bit less spannering.

I live in Wolverhampton and its not easy to find examples anywhere near here, they are all in East Anglia, Scotland or the south coast.

I'd like to try out a couple of models for size being 5'6" so if anyone is willing to help me back into the fold and lives around the west midlands it would be great if I could try out the XB12SS for size. S1 or M2 also possibilities. Pretty sure the standard size 9S or 12S will be fine.

Cheers

Thanks for pointing that out. A 6 hour round trip but may consider it if I get stuck.

Bit of a drive right enough but you won't see that many different models in one place for a while....... :eat:

I took a punt on an M2 on eBay in the end. It was too cheap not to. 8-)

Hopefully it all works out.

I'm a stone and a half heavier than 20 years ago so I'm probably not as 'short' as I was on a Buell back then. lOl
