Hi, yet another newbie joining in. I've been riding for years and always liked the look of the buels, but never tried one. Saw the the bad news in MCN and got straight onto the web to find one.
Went up to Newmarket to look, placed a deposit, hopefully collecting next week.
It's a '09 XB12 long, cheery bomb red. I'm feeling a kid on Christmas morning. This week is just going to drag sooooooooo much. :(

Richard. :old:

Hi wobbly

I like the 'longs' - proper size. I have a Uly (which is a long frame I believe) and they feel like a bit bike to ride until you get off and look at it and realise how small they are.

The owners manual has a suspension set up for different weights - getting this roght makes a lot of difference to the handling. They should handle so well that apart from general vibration they don't actually feel like there is a bike beneath you - if you get the set up right.

Everything you want to know about muells is on this site and badweb.

good luck with the bike. Cherry bombs look especially good
