Just bought myself a ulysses on a 55 from the HD dealership in edinburgh, great bike and much better than the gs i had. Having a slight problem with a wobble about 80mph (not that i'd do that speed as the limit is 70 at the most!!!) i'm not the heaviest at 85kgs and have wound the preload right back. Any ideas?? Have i wound it too far? i wound it right open then closed it a click. I was parked up at heartside today and the bike got a lot of interest. Nobody noticed the gs when i had it. Davylat |

Do you have the standard screen? Have you checked the suspenders are set for your weight? Did you have anything on the flip-tail-thingumajig? |

Did you get the optional Roz on the back? Oh and welcome; your feet might not get as warm as on the GS but your bollocks will be warmer. ![]() |

Thanks for all the replys. The bike has a taller screen and i had nothing on the back. I've no idea how the adjust the suspension or to check its set for my weight. How do you do that? What is the optional ROZ?? Its got Pirelli Scorpion fitted, good looking tyres. Just checked and i don't think they have serviced it before i bought it. So by the looks of things its not been done for a year. Are the easy to service? What do you need to do? its only got 7000miles on. Oh i love the power of the v-twin ![]() ![]() |

Suspension settings are very easy to adjust; settings and instructions are in the owner's manual. If you don't have one, they are available online through the Buell website. |

![]() I'm not really optional - more incidental. I broke my bike on the JoGLE trip and ended up doing it pillion on Goldy's XT. I don't make a habit of stealing peoples pillion seats, I'd prefer to ride my own bike (and will again - as soon as I get the replacement). Mind you, if you need some ballast to hold the back end down I can be persuaded ![]() |

I don't really look like that ![]() I did ride a Firebolt, I sold that and bought a Triumph Street Triple in March. It dropped a valve on the way up to Scotland to do the UkBeg John O Groats to Lands End challenge, having had it's first service the week previous and only having done a thousand miles in all. Been getting teased mercilessly ever since ![]() Enjoy it here - the lads are hysterical ![]() ![]() |
