I know a few UKBEG members regularly attend this show, so...

We'll be there on Saturday - if anyone fancies a cuppa and a natter then our mobile number is 0792 626 5582.

Show details: here

There was some proper riff raff there today ;)

It was worth the trip there just to see a very special Buell. Spoke to the owner and it seems to have the right provenance (the owner has spoken to Henry Dugga, who sent him some copies of the original drawings) to lay claim to being the original Lucifers Hammer 8-) 8-) 8-)
I was so star struck that I forgot to photograph it but I know somebody else probably did ;) :D

:hehe:

We're being spoilt this Autumn with all this dry weather  ...

We had a great day at the Stafford show and a good ride there and back. We eventually met up with Adam - luckily it was just as we were leaving and walking back to the bike park.

At least I didn't have to buy him a coffee :ill:...

Jane and Adam's Ducati :P...

There were lots of interesting bikes at the show but the highlight of the day was seeing this Buell RR1000 race machine, now owned by Steve Ledsham. We had a good long chat with Steve and he told us all about the bikes fascinating history. He plans to restore the bike to its original 1985/6 Buell US race specification.

Thanks for finding my bike Chris, I'd still be looking for it now. I'm certain someone moved it across the field during the day

I got 5 miles from home and went through the 'cantbebotheredtotakethetankbagofftofillupwithpetrol' phase. Guess what? I ran out of juice
