Anyone been up to the Nordkapp in Norway, Europes Northenmost Point (71 degrees 10' 21') I've been up there twice on an 1150GSA and into Arctic Sweden, Finland and to the Russian border at Grense Jacobselve aswell as crossing the Arctic Circle on the way up and down again(66 degrees north).

I just fancied taking the Uly up there to stretch her legs a bit and try out those wonderful heated grips(it was -9 the last time) returning home through Denmark etc.

It was 1.30am and broad daylight, the sun didn't really set on 1st june and it was quite warm in the sleeping bag in the tent......!

The best thing was that it was sunny and dry on the way back to the campsite but it was much colder going 'into the wind'..!

Anyone else up for it?

you know that i am still thinking about it...
lets talk about it in details when i make it up to yours (hopefully) soon.

this would use DFDS freight crossing from the UK yo Norway (one way) and than return via Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland - UK...
