Easier to upload a photo album on there than it is on UKBEG ;) ..... + it doesn't cost UKBEG to host them all ;)

Well what a fantastic weekend. :D
Not only did I get to catch up with some of you lot I met some of the Raptor crowd as well.
Had a laugh last night at the local pub to the campsite with Martin and Mel on the karaoke and eventually got thrown out as everyone else had gone home. lOl
Left early this morning at 8am and was home just before 1pm with only the last 40 Miles being wet.

A big thanks to Chris and Jane as always and I'm sure you would have been happy with the large turnout and I hope you raised some funds for the charity.
Also a big thanks to Eric for the offer of the room at the Lion on the Friday night but you were missed and you will have to go next year mate.

No problem, I'm glad you were able to use it and it didn't go to waste. Hopefully circumstances will be better this end next year! Glad it all went so well.

:( :( Is this the classic case of them terminating old contracts and then allowing the same people to apply for the "new" jobs with different job descriptions and new terms + less wage ?

Exactly what I'm going through right now

Me too :(

A bit late to respond but we've been making the most of this nice weather and didn't arrive back home until this evening.

Yesterday was one of the best Em's Days of recent years, helped in no small part by glorious sunshine :sun: ...

A huge thank you to everyone who attended :worthy: :worthy: - it was great to see so many old friends and quite a few new faces.

We must thank Kev(mean) for marshalling the bikes, we couldn't hold this event without his help. The new parking area and arrangements worked very well.

We raised £373* on the gate for Em's Charity and although we didn't get an exact count on the number of bikes the total easily exceeded 200. The number of Buells was somewhere between 40 and 45, and I know for a fact there were 17 Vincents plus one Velocette because it was easy to count them. Italian bikes probably numbered around 120.

* We've rounded this up to £400 and will send a cheque to Papworth Hospital in due course.
