I had a fab weekend, thanks a million to Chris, Jayne, Team Hero EBR and the rest of UKBEG. I've added a couple of photos that sum up the day for me.

I was determined to get to this one despite the weather (Monday was also officially my last day working on 'Maggie's Farm'!). I needn't have worried as Chris and Jane had also arranged for the rain belt to go west for the day!

A great turn out of all things organised to perfection thanks. 8-)

The brace of new EBRs looked very pretty.
Maybe not my thing, but nicely subtle styling and details. ;)

Sorry I missed you again Att......someone will have to point you out to me next time!

I rode home the more scenic (slower) route and turned south to dodge the rain, only to discover the A15 from Sleaford to Bourne. What a road! I guess Richie knows this one well? The rain did catch me past Stamford......and for the next 100 miles, but paracetamol and adrenaline works! lOl

The little XB also impressed me as much on that wet ride as anytime in 7 years!
I hope you all had a good ride home. ;)

Maybe someone kind will post my pics eventually..........

Another great weekend in the best of company. :sun:
Thanks as ever, to Chris and Jane for organising another gathering of the clan. :worthy:
I clocked about 450 miles (or would have done, if I had a speedo cable fitted lOl ) and the S1 didn't miss a beat. This included dropping it in a slime covered ford on the way up (Mareham Lane, fantastic high speed alternative to the A15 from Bourne to Sleaford) and a slog through heavy rain from Kettering all the way back to Dorset.

See you on the road. 8-)

A bit late to the party having just got home after setting off to work early on Friday morning 8-) It's a tough life but someone has to do it :D

Massive thanks from all of us at EBR Europe to Chris and Jane for making it all possible and even bigger thanks from me for helping me land the dream job in the first place.

Thanks also to Jon64 for picking up my White Lightning at Donington and riding it up to join the party and for the hours of painstaking work he put in to get it the way it is.

It was great to see you all there and sorry to those who I didn't catch up with, that's you for one, Pepper.

There's some great photos of the event on here and let me know if any one doesn't want them shared with the rest of my team. Love your pics especially, Deep6 but there do seem to be a disproportionate number of my new bestie, Christa :D

Second everything that everyone has said about you too, GB and also what you have to say about Aaron. He and his dad, Lucky made a supreme effort to join us after a very tough week at the office. The two of them, plus Roz and Kwakman, made for a really memorable evening at the Admiral Rodney as well lOl

This is my first visit to UKBEG in a few days as well. It's ironic that landing my dream job means I have less time to chat with my best mates on here but it was great to see most of you over the weekend. Just need to get some more dealers signed up now and prepare for a weekend at BuellLive in Italy, WSB at Misano and Lauwe all packed into the next month.

Thanks to you all again :yup:

Steve

You'd have only clocked about 300 had you gone the right way :D Great run back with you and beef and a good way to power wash the dead flies off :old:

Big thanks to Chris and Jane for a wonderful day. Twas great to meet old friends again. Special thanks to the UKBeg Recovery Service and the magical mystery tour the driver took me on upto North Shropshire, that cul de sac was beautiful :D

Thanks for all the positive responses after the WSB and Em's Day events, they're very much appreciated.

We've just written a cheque out to Papworth for £800 and will post it tomorrow. This amount is made up of £600 taken on the gate, £168 from the Em's Day T-shirts and an additional £32 in various donations etc.

We've received the pictures from Alan Markham, the professional photographer we asked to do the photo shoot on the airfield. I think Christa is everyone's new 'bestie'.......

What a fantastic picture CJ 8-) fantastic sporty lines , nice headlights , perfect shape and form and the bike and plane look good as well :D
Joking apart though the whole of the EBR crew were very professional and well turned out and friendly. And it just makes it even better that as well as being very good at their jobs in getting people to notice both them and therefore the bikes that girls like Christa are motorcyclists in their own right 8-).
You can never have too many girlies riding motorcycles.

I thought it was our little secret that I took you up the Cul de sac  :rotfl:

Irish Porn would be wonderful - gorgeous bikes flirting with naked tarmac, what better bedtime reading is there? It can go with the Maria Costello calendar by the bedside :sun:
